Autumn groaned, dropping her head to the glass display case in front of her. Apparently, her mother didn’t want her in the house anymore. Now she had to pay rent and buy her own food, so she was at her part time job.
She hated this job. Autumn couldn’t help but think that working at a gas station was even worse than working at a fast food joint.
“Excuse me,” another sweaty old man said. The words were polite but the tone was rude, and he practically threw the items he was buying at her.
She really hated this job.
