“Hagu?” Takemoto carefully pulled open the veil to her art room, but what he saw made him rush to her side.
Hagu was lying on the floor, her face bright red. Takemoto put a hand on her forehead, confirming that she had a fever.
He moved her to a cot, then ran to grab a bag of ice and place it on her head. He waited fretfully by Hagu’s side until she finally woke up with a smile.
“Thank you for taking care of me. I feel much better.” Takemoto refilled the ice then; an excuse to hide his blush.
