I FINALLY got my class schedule together.

After alot of pain, suffering, blood, sweat, and tears (mostly tears), I have classes for this semester, despite the fact that the college never sent me their usual postcard telling me my registration date.

Probably not going to get into my English class.

AGAIN.

BIG FUCKING SURPRISE, RIGHT!? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.

Waitlisted 41 on my English class.

BUT I have Creative Writing (waitlisted 3, most likely going to get in)
Algebra (PCH campus, but NO WAITLIST!)
Journalism WITH JOB EXPERIENCE (waitlisted 1. If I don't get in, I'll scream)
and Music Appreciation (Internet class)

How hard can music appreciation be over the internet? :|

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh today SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKED.

Volunteering at the Senior Center was an extra pain in the ass today. I had to make a bunch of phone calls again, and I comforted an old lady who's best friend's husband died the day before, I helped a creepy old man put on his vest, helped a nice old man stand up, ran around in circles looking for CiCi and Arleen and Sabrina every time the phone rang (which it did alot today), and then there was supposed to be a Driving Seminar.....but the teacher cancelled without telling anyone. :| So I had to stay a little late and herd a bunch of grumpy old people into the craft room and make an excuse with the help of the girl who comes in to help after me (she has the 1-5 shift, I have the 9-1, so we overlapped today) while Sabrina made frantic phone calls trying to get a substitute.

Then I went to the mall with Dalina and it was horrible.

No, I'm kidding. xDDDDDD We went to the bookstore, and I got Miles From Nowhere, a book about a 13 year old Korean girl who runs away from home in America in the Bronx in the 1980s and goes from a homeless shelter to an escort service, struggles with addiction to jobs selling newspapers and cosmetics while commiting petty crimes and somehow making a good life for herself out of all of this. It opens with a girl smashing another girl in the face with a lunch tray and sitting on her.

My kinda book.

We then went to hot topic where I saw kind of a Tokio Hotel meets Moi band being advertised. I might check them out later, they seem interesting. Black Veil Brides, they are. (Also, I only listened to about three seconds of them, so don't start screaming "THEY ARE NOTHING LIKE MOI OR HOTEL, STFU NOOB HOW DARE YOU" xDDDD)

I bought a necklace at Forever 21. It's a tarnished brass locket with a green, leafless tree painted faintly on it and a little bird pendant over it. It's so cute and mori!

Afterwards we got Chipotle, and I went off to serve food in the homeless kitchen. :|

HORRIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I HATE HELPING PEOPLE!!! XDDDDD

Actually, it was nice. Everyone was really sweet, but jesus christ I am so fucking tired. I can't stand on my feet that long. I can walk for a longer time than I can just stand in one place. My back and my knees start to hurt.

now I'm home and I'm going to sleep, good night.

Actually I'm probably going to stay up until four in the morning reading Harry Potter and playing Harvest Moon while eating animal crackers and ice cream in my underpants while listening to crappy music and then falling alseep crushed into an awkward position in the space under my bed with a random assortment of pillows and blankets around me and the lights still on.

books, work, school, volunteer
