First off, this is a funny interview, if you like Them. There is a bit where the interviewer asks if, as 25 year veterans of the music biz, They had ever been asked to do lectures on how to make it in music. Without missing a beat, Flansburgh says, "It's funny you ask that because, uh, I'm giving a seminar at the Learning Annex called, 'Clawing Your Way to the Middle." This cracks Linnell up.

Not to get fangirly, but while I am unjustly praising my dorky fan object? At about the 55 second mark in the segment, during "Take Out the Trash," Flans introduces a big bass interlude, with "Go Danneh!" and my innards wiggle in response. Scientifically, I ran the segment several times, and the effect recurs - "Go Danneh!" makes my insides wiggle. Perhaps my intestines are named Danny?

Also, if you are just catching this, when it was first posted, there was 9 minutes of sound-checking in the booth before the show started. I enjoyed that immensely, and am sad that it has been cut out to get it down to 17 minutes.
