Foxen
For variety's sake, I washed my hair in the kitchen sink this morning. And as I was standing there, eating a tiny bowl of cornflakes, I noticed that all the backyard customers were gone - birds, squirrels - all missing. Then a fox trotted neatly through the yard under the platform birdfeeder, and off into the path between the brambles. The last time I saw a fox in our neighborhood was at least five years ago, before dawn, like 5:30 am, so technically, at night. This was 6:46 am, and definitely daylight. Wish I'd had a camera!
