Initial thoughts on RE5; Getting back to ficwriting
So yeah, me and my sis finally had a chance to play "Resident Evil 5" last night. And frankly, I WILL NEVER PLAY THAT GAME UNLESS IT'S WITH SOMEONE ELSE, BECAUSE CO-OP IS THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY IT. Holy shit, it was just. so. much. fun. :DDDD I don't know if it was the interdependence on combat, the frantically running around and covering each other, the both of us cursing impotently at the screen when we ran out of ammo, or kicking away a zombie that had one of us by the throat, but this is easily the best and most social co-op setup I have EVER encountered (with former #1 Left 4 Dead just below). Getting someone else in the game is a breeze (as easy as pressing 'start' on a second controller), and keeping track of each other is never a chore. For God's sake, if you have even the slightest interest in this game or series BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT.
One caveat, though-- it's best to right away set the aiming speed to 'Fastest.' Because Goddamn for paramilitary agents, Chris and Sheva aim really. FUCKING. SLOW and that is NOT good when you have hatchet-wielding zombies crowding you. Also LOL my sis was totally crushing on both Chris and Sheva XD Mmm, Sheva <3<3
Hmm, for some reason I've been wanting to write some smut lately. Maybe some for Chie/Yukiko, and definitely some for Claymore (LOL Miria/Clare/Helen/Deneve is my OT4 XD) 'cause there's, like, none of it. And don't worry kiyuu, that Kaon/Chikane smut is coming, you crazy kid you ;D
