FINISHED

As of about 3:00 this afternoon... I finished the last exam I will ever write of my undergraduate career. The last three words I wrote? "the new world." :)

All right! :D I think that the exam went really well. I also felt really happy because I won a $40 gift card from the University book store yesterday, which I used today to buy a few books that I actually want to read for fun, not for papers! \o/

Now then, what can you expect from this journal in the meantime?

-Immediately: preparations for Spain. We leave on Friday! I'll try to write posts as I go - the same as I did in Ireland and Scotland - and I will definitely do a giant picture post after I get back.

-Pretty Fort Edmonton pictures and general accounts of Fort shenanigans!

-Neat-o history facts that I run across! I just bought a book on handwritten annotations in texts from the 15th-18th centuries, and what they tell us about the readers and how those historical readers understood the texts. Heavily illustrated, very pretty.  (Maybe I'm biased because it seems like there's a picture of a lithograph of Charles I on the back). I'm also doing a lot of research on early Victorian fashion for the Fort... so I'll probably have pictures. Possibly of myself IN Victorian fashion/hairstyles/etc.

-Later (much later), preparations for leaving for France! :)

-At some point reaction/review posts to Supernatural and Doctor Who? Both of which I've been watching recently when avoiding homework? I DON'T HAVE ANY MORE HOMEWORK TO DO NOW, GUYS. \o/
