Fingers twist her hands into origami shapes, looping around her wrists and Ana smiles down at her. Cocky. Arrogant. Turned on.
“If I’d been the cop on your case you never would have gotten away.”
Kate smirks up at her when the other woman’s hands trail down her arms, trusting her fingers to clutch themselves into the tarp behind them, her actions revealing the lie in her words. She has a flash of Ana strapped tight inside a bullet-proof vest, gripping a gun like she’s gripping her thighs, fingering the trigger like she’s teasing her clit, and Kate bucks into her hand. There’s a challenge in her gaze and Ana has a split second to realize what’s happening before it’s Kate on top, in control.
“Don’t be so sure about that. I have a few tricks up my sleeve.”
Her chin juts out in a dare and her fingers press roughly into Kate’s hips.
“Prove it.”
