"Red Sternberg" called
my office phone (or, actually, the phone closest to me at work) rang just a few minutes ago, and the console showed "Red Sternberg". for those of you who don't know or can't remember, Red Sternberg happens to be this cute teenage TV star from this show called TGIS (Thank God It's Sabado) from centuries ago. he's with our company's HR department now and he's still really cute. (or, at least, he was when i last saw him at a work event.)
anyways...
my officemate, Melissa, was standing by ready to pick up expecting that it was our old boss, but i picked up before she did.
with my best modulated call center voice, i spoke, "hello? thank you for calling ********* Quality. this is Mariel."
the other party spoke in this sleazy voice asking to speak to me. it WAS our old boss doing his fake prank caller voice again.
