the end of Harry Potter

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD

finally finished reading the book. cried at some parts in the beginning, cried towards the end. this is the best - absolutely the best - of the series. probably because all the secrets have finally been revealed. (and we discover just how much of a great storyteller J.K. Rowling is. i have so much respect for the woman.)

it's amazing - how the entire story and all the characters just fit together into the rich tapestry that is Harry Potter. it's amazing, really. and it's sad how the series has come to a close. i'm gonna miss the anticipation, the guesswork and sleuthing, and the general satisfaction of having experienced another of Harry Potter's adventures with him and Hermione and Ron (whom i love). (luckily, i still have two Harry Potter movies to look foward to.)

i look back now at all seven books, and i know this is cheesy, but i thank
stainedshirt for having gotten me hooked.  thanks, xave!

WARNING: SUPER SPOILER AHEAD

i'm probably gonna make a separate post about whatever comments i might have forgotten to post, but let me say this for now: i think it would've been better if Neville had been the one to finish Bellatrix and avenged his parents. so far that's my only disappointment.
