Prom Night
Well tonight was prom night for Jess, she called about 4 days ago and asked if i would take her (apparently the person who was supposed to take her was being a d*ck). Well anyway, tonight was all about making sure Jess had a great time; and i think she did. My brother and i ended up at Jess's place early, so Jess's mother took wayyyyyy too many pics of Jess, with me watching lol.
When we arrived at the prom, i met Jess's numerous friends and we all just went random =P hehehe. We all danced randomly and had a blast. But to be honest, the next time i dance again, i gotta make sure my shoes are equipped for it lol. But yea, Jess and I danced both wildly and slow, i figured i needed to show her that she made a good pick for making me her "date". After the prom, we all said our goodbyes, and Jess's friend, Aj, gave us a lift back to her home.
Now heres what irratates the hell out of me, when we get back to her place, we end up nearly snuggling and handing hands. This really confuses me: We have BOTH said that we should be friends and thats it, but then we somehow go back to touching and hand holding. I don't understand really. Maybe we're both unaware of it or something. The "Thing" bwtn me and her was just a "one time con thing". Snuggling with friends, without the possibility of anything more, makes me feel a bit uncomfortable because i look at those things as something people do when they are close. I just wish we could do what friends do, so i can give up the idea of us dating; cause being that close and holding hands is not helping very much lol. I'm just a guy that likes to treasure things in a unique way is all =).
