You May Have Noticed an Absence
Early on the morning of Friday, November 12, 2010 my beloved Tuffy Anne died from lymphoma. She was an amazing creature. She saved me from many dark times and I was devastated by her loss. I was, apparently, even too devastated to write about it in my LJ. Four months later, here I am finally explaining my absence. On October 1, 2011, the anniversary of her birthday, I intend to make a memorial post and a memorial contribution to the local no kill shelter.
What have I been doing besides crying and mourning?
Going back to school for another degree (Motion and Visual Effects Design).
Losing weight (intentionally).
Surviving a winter with far too much snow for even me, thank you very much.
Thanks to my degree in Graphic design, I only need 33 credit hours for my Associate in Motion and Visual Effect Design.
I've lost 18.6 pounds since the beginning of the year.
The snow is gone (for now), the robins are back, and I planted my tomato seeds today.
