Throwing the folded robes on top of the kindling he on his walk to the clearing, Draco took a deep breath. Midsummer; the perfect time for understanding and forgiveness.
The Death Eater robes burned; the scent of blood, sweat, and tears sent his head spinning - but still he focused on letting go of his past. Every nasty word, curse or thought melted away as the fires burned the physical reminders. With each flicker of the flames, his soul felt a little more peaceful.
Watching the sunrise, Draco thought he heard Dumbledore's voice whisper in the wind. All is well.
