Blush: Necessity or Luxury Item?
How do you feel about blush? Is it an every day deal for you, or is it situational? Can you tell when someone didn't bother with blush, and does it make them look "unfinished"?
The reason that I ask is that I have never worn blush, and to be honest I'm slightly color blind between reds and browns so I'm never 100% sure when someone's wearing blush versus contour; I may not be looking for the right thing at all. With how things are going so far on that search, I'm wondering if it's really something to bother with or just "one of those tiny extras" to a look.

I wear MUFE Mat Velvet in 15/Alabaster and have been told by three counters that I am either between undertones or without one at all. MAC's lightest counter-regular blush looks like an electric pink "I just got slapped!", Origins thought I needed orange that looked "off" in the MA's words, and Clinique (or Chanel?) tried to blend a yellowish tan on me. As I was saying... lol! The search is ongoing.
