I'm hunting for the perfect brownish-grayish eyeshadow with just a bit of shimmer in it for everyday wear. Right now I use Covergirl Double Espresso (from the Cafe au Lait eyshadow threesome), but it not quiiite right. urban decay deluxe shadow in ruthless i think is like a silvery taupe.

Thank you! It is definitely close, although it might be a little light.. I'll have to go to a Sephora and see what it looks like on the skin.

MAC Satin Taupe? I think MAC Mothbrown would be exactly what you are looking for but it is d/c and you probably won't find it anywhere but Ebay (at a huge markup).

Satin Taupe is amazing, 2nd on Moth Brown. I still see sometimes at CCOs

bobbi brown stone or mac satin taupe.

Ooo I haven't looked at Bobbi Brown's colors before, but I thikn Stone is almost perfect, and they have a lot of similar shades that might be it. I will have to try MAC satin taupe also. Thank you!
