hair

hey everyone. i got my hair cut last month but am not really digging it. it looked amazing when the stylist was done (as usual) but now i am realizing that i dont think this cut is for me. my hair (in the front only) is extremely thin and i have to put a lot of product to thicken it up a bit. i also have to blow dry my hair every day and my hair has a wavy texture to it as well. the problem with my new hair style is that it is rather bulky at the bottom and flat at the top, no matter what products i use.

this is my hair at its best (blah). i dont know if i should get side bangs or what (they are so thin so i am unsure how it would turn out). should i go much shorter? should i just get a lot more layers ( i have heard that can also make your hair look super thin)..

when i try to tease the top it just gets very tangled and hair goes everywhere....

also, i am considering dying it myself and i cant make up my mind on a dark chocolate brown or black. right now the bottom half is brown/black (semi permanent hair color that NEVER came out) and the top is my natural brown/reddish color. a lot of people say black looks great on me while others say dark browns are more natural and better. i am torn.

thanks for the help everyone. i am sick of feeling so ugly with my hair like this!!
