Have any of you guys ever made your own eyeshadow primer? If so...
- How did you do it? What did you use, what brands of materials, etc?
- Is it worth trying, or should I just head over to Ulta and shell out some extra money for the Urban Decay stuff? I'm the kind of girl who used to hate makeup and still needs things as simple as possible to keep from going crazy, but I also have budget concerns and UD is expensive. ^^;;
I want something to keep my shadows from fading into nothing so fast. As it is right now it only takes about 10 minutes for it to fade, and that's with concealer or foundation and powder underneath. I need to start wearing makeup to work, so I'm looking for ways to make the shadow last all day if at all possible. I have oily/combination skin and deep-set eyes, if that helps anyone determine what advice is best.
Also, any recs on good eyeliner for beginners would be lovely. I've been finally taking the plunge with liner and I'm still clumsy as hell so smudging is my best friend, but I want liner that will last. Right now I use Rimmel's Soft Kohl liner and I like how it blends/smudges easily, but it seems to fade just as fast as my shadow.
Thank you so much for your help! :D
