dressing my man
You guys gave me some fabulous ideas for shoes to go with my maid of honour dress, so I am hoping you can tell me what to do with my boyfriend too. He is not in the wedding, but since I would imagine we'll get to spend some time together and take some pics together I would rather he isn't wearing something that looks absolutely blech with my dress. Which is how his current suit would look...the suit is fine, it's black, but his dress shirt that he wears with it is a mustard yellow with a tie that has some of the same color in it....I actually think it looks very nice, but it would look awful next to my wine colored dress.
I've been to weddings before when you see the date of a bridemaid running around in a shirt that matches her dress exactly and I can't help but think he looks like a puppy dog that let his girlfriend dress him. So I am against him wearing a wine colored shirt....I would just like to get him something that looks nice and won't look like throw up when you put us together.....I was thinking just a white dress shirt with maybe some wine in the tie, but I am pretty sure he rejected the white shirt idea. Any suggestions?
