Affordable skiing/snowboarding clothing or accessories
I just saw a post within the last few days where someone is going skiing soon... Since it's winter, AND I'm going on a trip in about 3 weeks, I was wondering if any of you ladies (and gents) have suggestions for affordable ski/snow wear. I ordered blue ski pants off eBay for about $36, but some of the other people in our party can't spend too much on a pair of pants and a ski jacket like I can! Plus, I've been looking around and can't find any beanies or scarves I'm in love with. Any suggestions?
Plus, I have small hands (as do two other people going on the trip), and was wondering if I could buy kids large size snow gloves, do you think they would fit? I'm pretty sure they would, but I wanted to double check.
And any other suggestions for the slopes? I know to wear sunscreen and chapstick, but anything else I should be aware of? I'm a born and bred Southern California girl, so snow is definitely not my comfort zone haha. Any cheap websites and/or stores that I can check out?
