you look cute either way. but if you do decide on a bang, perhaps you can start with a mild side swept bang.
coconut oil is the best thing for hair. a tiny bit goes a long way. put some in your hair at night and sleep on it (put a towel on your pillow); wash it out in the morning. it makes a difference if you do it a couple of nights a week.
Without bangs. Try switching the material of your pillow cases! You want silk (real silk-but that's expensive) or something very very soft. I use the Pure Beech line from Bed Bath And Beyond.
Also, cutting off the damaged parts will limit the tangling.
I do a loose bun at night, and it stays well. You can try getting a silk or satin pillowcase - the hair glides so it doesn't tangle as much. I have a few friends who put a scarf over their hair at night and say that it helps but I don't have any personal experience with that. When I first got bangs, to make them more sideswept, I had to bobby pin them for a bit or blow dry them to the side w/ a round brush. However, I think I like you a little better without bangs.
