I like Rimmel's Lasting Finish foundation. It's not thick or cakey but provides good coverage and it lasts a long time. It's not that expensive so you might want to buy it in two or three different shades to mix and match when your skin is lighter in the winter and darker in the summer. I have combination skin too and I have never gotten a breakout or any skin problems using this.
I have four kinds of drugstore undereye concealer and they all work fairly well. Neutrogena 3-in-1 concealer is nice because not only is it a concealer, but it's an eye cream and has an spf of 20 too. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Double Face Perfector, Revlon Age Defying concealer, and Almay Bright Eyes concealer are good as well. I think the important thing with concealer is getting the right shade for your skin tone -- when in doubt, go a shade lighter rather than darker but don't go too light or it will look weird. Application is also important -- use only a very small amount or it will look cakey, and take the concealer all the way up to the lower rim of your eye and not just on the undereye part because there's usually discoloration for most people on the lower rims of their eyes too. I would suggest applying your foundation before you apply your undereye concealer. Make sure you moisturize your entire face including the areas around your eyes before putting on foundation and concealer or else all the dry bits of skin will show up even more.
For your hair I would suggest using a detangler. I think kids detanglers work really well because their formulations are gentle on the hair and usually smell pretty nice but not too overpowering and chemical. Johnson & Johnson No More Tangles is good and there are plenty of other kids detanglers that work well too. Another thing I would suggest is getting a light hold hairspray that will help your hair keep its style and shape during the day without weighing it down.
All the products I mentioned can be purchased at drugstores like CVS, Rite-Aid, Walgreens, and other stores such as Wal-Mart and Target. I hope this helps. :)
