Hi y'all!
Okay, I'm a complete makeup noob, and am trying to figure out how to develop a makeup routine that works for me. I've always been a shower, brush my hair and teeth, and go girl. Not expecting to go from 0 to 60 overnight, but I'm taking baby steps. In the last few weeks, I've started a basic skincare routine to try and do damage control with my blackheads (basically just exfoliating a few times a week and moisturizing daily in mornings after my shower, and at night using those Ponds evening wipes and water after), which has helped a lot. I'm pretty broke and sticking to drugstore stuff for now.
My main issue that I'm having for makeup (okay, one of many I'm having) is how to approach foundation/concealer. I have light freckles, which I like and don't want to cover up. However, I have major under eye circles and bags that I do want to cover up. I have combination skin. Also, since it's summer, I'm a little tanner than I usually am, so does that effect the colors I buy? Another thing is that I have to wear this plastic mask that covers my face from my nose to my hairline for my part-time job, so I'd like stuff that won't just rub/melt away in five minutes. Does anyone have any tips?
My other main issue is that I have straight, fine hair that gets really tangly and gross when I leave it down for more than a half hour, and I don't really know what products to use to control it. Everything I see marketed for fine hair seems to be aimed at volume. Does that also help with keeping it tame?
I didn't see these in the tags, but feel free to yell at me if they're asked every day. :) Thanks a bajillion!
