Tights and Alternatives
I'm going to a formal wedding this May. While I have planned a wrap and long gown for the wedding itself, making my tattoos null, I was this past weekend invited to the rehearsal dinner as well, which is a big deal.
However, most rehearsal-level dresses would show the prominent tattoo on my calf and this is occurring in a conservative church. Neither bride nor groom have asked, but I think her family and the priest would be happier without me and my blackwork tattoo.
I've tried coverups and I can't. I've got Irish skin - I look like I'm wearing white leggings when I show my legs and cover up sort of assumes some kind of color.
I don't think I can wear tights with a cocktail dress or gown, but is there an opaque alternative?
