tips on bleaching?
hi everyone! i bleached the top half of my head a month ago and as the color is fading i'd like to bleach that area and the rest of my head blonde so i can apply all-over color. i've been conditioning my hair and taking care of it but it definitely feels dry. i'd like to bleach it tonight but i am afraid the condition of my hair will worsen significantly. i bought Alba Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner last night and used just the shampoo this morning [it's clarifying so perhaps that is what is making my hair feel so dry?]. also, i've read and heard conflicting things about bleaching hair in the same day as shampooing; i was wondering what you guys prefer personally.
any help would be great!
i used Manic Panic's Volume 30 Bleach and Manic Panic Enchanted Forest dye. the green on the top of my head has stayed pretty well over the month, but my bangs and some of the tips of where the green took have turned tawny.
i'll be bleaching my entire head then applying Special Effects' Fishbowl.
