Well...that was some spring break.

I really think that my dad's airplane does not like me. I flew my uncles tail-dragger airplane on thursday and did perfectly. Flew my dad's tail-dragger airplane friday and could not fly it. I could not get it to land nice and easy, could not get it to take off straight down the runway. it was frusterating. Out of 11 or so landings I probably did one really really good one. So I think that b/c I did so well w/ my uncle's plane, I should've done fine w/ my dads.... but didn't. However, I recieved encouragement at a late st patties day party we went to when everyone was asking how my flying was going. I heard some stories abt my dads airplane. hahaha. People landing it in a tree, people not even being able to get into it b/c its so small, people doing landings on one wheel on purpose (b/c i said i did the same, but it was b/c i didn't have control of the airplane...ha!) Oh well, just keep plugging away. As I heard a few times- "There must be something wrong if you're a Hogan and aren't flying."

I didn't work on my paper as I should've. I didn't work on my little ballet classes recital dances, and of course the saturday night that I don't have to wake up early on sunday morning for a 3 hour rehersal i don't go out and get smashed...that time will come soon enough i suppose.

I also love it how now that the FAA has my address, I recieve mail from these airplane companies. I just got a catalogue called, Sporty's Pilot Shop. And the other day I recieved a CD Rom to help take my written test. I just can't wait till i have that little plastic card- that says I'm a pilot. B/c once your a pilot, your always a pilot. Literally. My grandma still has her pilots liscense. The catch is, you have to have a current medical (check-out by a Dr.) saying you're healthy enough to fly. She doesn't have a medical, for obvious reasons. But its fun for her to show off her card. :-)
