This week i hit the jackpot as far as odd jobs go at work. I had really tedious jobs like 3-hole punching a couple hundred cardstock tabs, and stapling tons of stuff together. Confusing jobs where I got to do things like figure out pecentages of fighter plane parts sold, and other jobs that consisted of moving around data from one excel sheet to ( Read more... )

hey jason. on my lunch breaks at work i frequently read readers digest. last week i came across 2 articles on chicago. one was about how there are more high tech security cameras there monitoring people than in any other city in the world (like...a camera will zoom in on you if you have on a winter coat on a hot day, or if you're walking in circles at a train station...basically anything "suspicious"), and the other was about how chicago has the WORST post office record of any other us city...like, it's so bad people have moved. is it really that bad? how terrible. and be careful that your wardrobe complements the weather!

I don't know if I love or hate those mirrored elevators. It's good if you're alone because you can primp yourself and you're in the elevator for about the length of time you need to primp yourself, but on the other hand if you're in there with other people it sucks, as you mentioned earlier.

the article also said there's tons of cameras in the elevators, so you're grooming for an audience!!
