[It has been a while since she's seen or heard from her, so a bad dream like this worries her a little more than it should.]

[A little while later--]

...Naminé?

[Silence, for a moment.]

I'm...sorry you had to see that.

[She's patient with waiting... sort of. Not panicking, but it definitely makes her more worried.]

Mmm, it's okay. Don't apologize. I was just... worried. It didn't look like a good dream at all.

voice;

[beats_zelos]

[Heh, she's sorry...honest.]

...No, it wasn't a good dream.

[It still has her shaken up, really.]

[She should not be sorry. It's Namine's own fault for worrying... or something |D;]

But they're still just... dreams here. They're not real, even if it feels like it...

You just have to remember that.

Yeah...

[She sighs a little bit.]

A lot of it was a memory, though. The only thing that didn't happen was...my friends didn't die.

[Taking her time saying this.]

Memories... can be tricky, sometimes. But just because you dreamed of another version, it doesn't always mean that it's real. It's hard to deal with, but I think so long as you know that it was a dream and that they're still here, it might be okay.

voice;

[beats_zelos]

Yeah...most of them are alive, at least. [She pauses, and sighs.] The real version of the memory was that I made a pact with Volt. Everyone was injured, but...Corrine, he--

[She chokes up a little.]

--He saved me.

[She remembers that name from before, from another dream she had. She takes her time before answering.]

And you're here now, because of him. Because of his sacrifice.

It is sad, but it'd not always a bad thing.

That's true, but...I miss him. He was...one of the things on Tethe'alla that I was closest to.

voice;

But you still remember him, don't you? It's not the same... but remembering when you remember something important or close to you, sometimes it feels like it's right there with you while you remember. It might not be much, but he'll be there in your mind and your heart whenever you remember.

[A pause, and quietly;] I'm sure he wouldn't want you to be sad over his sacrifice either.

voice;

[beats_zelos]

...Yeah. He will be. [A beat.] Thanks, Naminé.

I know he wouldn't be...it's just hard. Like I said, we were...really close.

voice;

It's never easy, but you'll find a way. I'm sure of it.

Everyone's been so supportive. [She doesn't deserve it.] It...does help, it really does.
