I have Scarlet Fever.
I didn't think anybody but small children of Pilgrims got that shit, like hundreds of years ago, but apparently it's still around.
My temp is fluctuating between 100 and 103 degrees, my throat is swollen as hell and everytime i swallow it feels like i got broken glass in there, and this weird red spotty rash is all over my body. The only thing it hasnt affected is my face, the bottom of my feet, and me nads.
Thank god my nads aren't all spotty.
Brighid took me to the clinic yesterday afternoon, and they recommended I should go to the emergency room if the fever went over 102. Which it did, so, Lindsey and Brighid took me to the ER last night when my fever peaked and we hung out there for like 4 hours, until i had been diagnosed and sent away with a prescription. We all left shaking our heads, "Who the fuck gets Scarlet Fever these days?".
