Ever had one of those moments when you just don't want to do some thing? I just don't want to write this paper, in a series of papers that I must turn in tomorrow. My mind seems to oppose me as I seem to know what I'm going to write about and my fingers are flying across the keys by some sort of intervention and my eyes are somehow still open, yet some where inside of me there is a temptation to turn it all off, finish my tea in the sanctity of my bedroom, turn off my lights and watch Carey Grant light up the screen with Debrah Kerr. Be surrounded by my pillows, listen to the cold wind howling outside my window and feel warm and safe.
Instead I'm settling for the artifical glow of the computer screen, with wisps of gardenia blowing in on my face, and writing.
