Awwww!! Sooo cute. And now Ringo has a lovely picture of the three of them too! ;)
Ah, I really LOVED that, it's going straight into my memories. There was just something so cute and tender about it - those nervous little first dates! I'd love to see some more one-shots like this from you.... and it's inspired me for my own fic actually....

Thank you so much! And I can't wait to read what fic you've come up with...provided you still keep working on Pandemic too, of course! :)

One-shots and short stories are fun, but you don't get a chance to delve too deeply into the characters. Of course, maybe that's for the best, the reader can put a lot of their own imagination to it. Thanks for reading!

Wow. A ferris wheel with two beatles on it. I never thought of that and it now seems so obvious. what is it about guys rocking the cart? John would definetly do it.
Ritchie is so sweet and shy here.

I love the way George and Ringo were both kind of shy, and each seemed to respond to that quality in one another.

A little gentle rocking or swaying of the Ferris Wheel cars is fine. Except when it's like those drunken idiots in Myrtle Beach a few years back, who rocked the ride so hard a couple of people fell out and were killed.

Thanks for reading/commenting!

Aw!! I absolutely loved this!! The way you wrote it almost makes it seem melancholy in a way, with your sudden descriptions of George's dark eyes and his dark hair and the mentioning of Ringo wondeirng about the ghosts in his past, and the fact that it's raining when they go to the fair. And also the present tense that it's in and the just the way it's written ( ... )

quote from your response:

Ringo really sort of made him come into himself and realize who he was.

Now there is a lovely thought! That could well be true!

I just thought having George write his number on the back of the picture was a nice chance for Ringo to have a picture of George, even if it did happen to have the other two in it as well. It seemed like such a subtly flirtatious thing for George to do, or maybe that was the only paper he had on him! But if it worked in a larger symbolic way, that's great too! Because when I wrote it, I thought, I hope that picture doesn't make everyone think John and Paul come along on the date too, because I'd like to imagine Ritchie and George got to go off somewhere alone together.

Thanks for the great comment!
