Just For Now
How come a camera doesn't do justice to a sunset/rise or Godlights? At least not my camera...silly little cybershot...
So Stephy wakes me up to take her to school this morning, and as I'm driving home I get a beautiful glimpse of Holy Hill with Godlights in the background, ya know...when the sun shines through the clouds and makes little lightlines...yeah, anyway...
I ran home to get my camera and some pants that weren't bright orange with paw prints on them and drove down 83 to Holy Hill Road where I pulled off to take some pictures. I had two guys pull over and ask if I needed help... (because whenever I get broken down, I pull out my camera and take pictures of the sky)...but yeah, I now have a renewed faith in mankind....it's okay, give it a few hours and it'll probly go away again...
anyway, by the time I got to my "spot" the light wasn't as good as it was, and the camera doesn't do it justice anyway...so yeah, that was fun...it's times like these that I wish I could paint
apparently today is the 35th anniversary of Styx signing their first record contract....coolio
It was soooo nice out yesterday, but now it's cold and windy again...of course...the day that I only have one class...grr
How was everyone's Fat Tuesday!? We had Patzcki's (sp?) and got condoms thrown at us by one of the Philosophy professors....good times.
So what happens when you give a bunch of college students condoms?
My sister said "they have sex?"
nope...
they make balloons...and put soda in them...or soda cans...tied to strings...or try to fit them over their heads....or pin them to the "safe sex" bulletin board in the hallway...or smear ranch and custard on them....
yeah....
I wore my Styx t-shirt on Tuesday...Dan said all my Beatles t's must be in the wash...
which led to me learning that my lesson teacher/stand partner likes The Who and Rush...
I was like....omg, that's so awesome...I was waaaay too easily amused by that...I can't think of any of my music teachers that have told me about any "popular" music they like...and I know Peter doesn't like any, so yeah...that really excited me...
My math test was too easy on Tuesday, I probably failed it...
even tho I studied (and I never study for math) with Brenda, Leah, and Christy. Leah's gonna laugh at me for mentioning this AGAIN, but I just can't get over the fact that I was the heaviest of the four of us...
oh yeah, yesterday, I got a letter from UW-Madison...
telling me they'd make a decision in 4-6 weeks...
grr
anyway, I should go get ready for schoolio...
