Blah blah blah...
First week of working at Lasenza is done (well it will be done tonight at 930) It's different, so the cash register stuff is gonna take some getting used to. Other than that, I love Tina and Kallah. They basically are going to be the ones to keep me afloat there. Tina was a broadcasting grad before moving here to work... and Kallah is from Brazil and her family moved here a few years ago. She's hilarious and has possibly the best accent ever. I only had one conflict with zehrs and lasenza, tonight... Dee scheduled me to work tonight even though I told her specifically I couldn't work. Oh well, no conflicts next week, and it's not like I ever call in sick or anything anyways.
It's my mom's birthday on Saturday, so I'm gonna shower and get my shit together than head downtown with my brother to search for a wicked gift for her. Since my dad seems to be useless to help us pick something out, we're doing it ourselves.
Mom left to go up to Uncle Rick's cottage on Wednesday. They're doing the annual "no kids, no spouces, no dogs" weekend. Basically my dad and my aunt are material people, and my mom and uncle are the type who could be happy fishing and drinkin' a couple beers together. I see Mat and me doing things like that in the future, though I know fishing it wont be...
I missed CBK and Bane last night. That sucked. BUT I waited too long to get a ticket, and I don't really care much. To be honest, I wasn't going to freak out to see that show, I'm more excited for ETID and UNDERMINDED/THE CHARIOT. I don't need to go to every show.. and with two jobs now, its harder to co-ordinate myself.
I can't wait to get two pay cheques. I don't think they're going to be as big as I was hoping right now, but I know once I get into routine it'll all help out.
I haven't talked to Kevin in what seems like years! I've been passed out by like 2 every night and he sends me messages around 3:40am... haha damn. Soon we'll re-connect.
I miss Debb, Mandi, Paul, Mike, Casey, Anne and Joel... I need to get to Toronto soon. It's Paul's B-day on Saturday too, but I work 12-8 and would like to take my mom for dinner... AND I work 11-7 Sunday, so there's no T.dot in my future this weekend.
