The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger - really good, but not great as I had heard & been hoping for. Anna & I discussed some annoyances we had with it since we finished it around the same time.
Average American Male by Chad Kultgen - speedy, profane & ultimately delightful. I think us girls like it more than guys do, judging by Todd's reaction to it.
Grace, Eventually by Anne Lamott - oh, Annie, do know that this book was so much more enjoyable than Plan B. There was a line that I especially loved but it's at home so it'll have to wait.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman - good! Now I want to read Anansi Boys something fierce.
Banker to the Poor by Muhammad Yunus - hopefully it's not rude to say, but I would have much preferred if there had been less autobiography, and more inner workings of the Grameen bank, microlending in general and testimonials. Still good, though.
St Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves by Kate Russell - awesome. If you want your short stories literary & slightly...off, then you must read this. Every story begged to be read aloud on This American Life or something.
I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith - cute! A literature equivalent of a romantic comedy.
I'm not racing through books these days. Whether that's because I have less time to read (or am not making enough time to read) or because I'm trying to stick exclusively to adult books (although I just started The Mysterious Benedict Society and it's totally great), I don't know...
