So remember when, over a month ago, I said we were thiiiis close to being in the pool? Well, it was true then, and through all kinds of craziness, we're somehow yet still closer, but not actually in the pool as of today. This is frustrating to say the least, but man, the serenity prayer is coming in handy.

I need to break up with my dentist. But first I get to go to a ten minute appointment next week to pick up a $500 mouth guard that I don't really need.

Through a combination of their false advertising, my personal faults, and insurance not coming through in the clutch, I am so frustrated right now I could spit.
