The first week...
This honestly my first chance to even update!! I've been really busy lately and that’s def a good thing, if I didn’t have tons of things to do I would be forced to sit and dwell and that’s not my idea of a good time.
So far college life is GREAT!! Here’s why
1. No curfews -I’ve been out way past my curfew almost every night and my mother will never know.
2. Lots of food-I never have to cook or wait for my mom to cook anything the foods just always there.
3. Campus is up hill- with all the food available it will only be a matter of time till I weigh 300 pounds but the scaling of the mountain and the eight flights of stairs I climb to get to my dorm will keep it of.
4. Tons of new people- I love most of the people that go here! They're so nice and I already have a group (I love groups)
5. My classes aren’t long- most of my classes are only 50 minutes while I hear from some others that theirs are 3 hours!!
6. Ulitmate Frisbee!!- I've learned that I love playing for about 14 minutes at a time anything longer then that and I want to puke. I’m actually not that bad...surprising huh?
Even though I’m loving college there are a few downsides
1. I Miss my family- I know!! I didn’t think this was possible but I really do EVEN my mother who forces fruit down my throat and calls every ten minutes.
2. I miss my Boyfriend- I knew this was gonna happen so it’s no surprise. It just hard being so far away from someone you've spent soo much time with, it’s a shock to the system.
3. I miss my friends- Its weird making new ones with out you guys! I know that we’ll still be close when we return to good ol NH but I love you guys and will make every attempt not to loss touch.
4. Having to make idle small talk- I can't stand small talk!! I'm someone that would rather sit in awkward silence then have to talk about stupid things and so far I’ve been doing a lot of that.
5. No privacy- This is by far one of the worst! I just want to be able to get changed and not worry about people looking at me!! I want to blast my music and not care if others like it....but alas.
Lastly....
6. The kids SCREAMING out side my window at four in the morning- Don't you ever go home?
