There is a season.....
It seems as if the season of our beloved dog Cody is about to end. I have had him for 12 yrs. He was the second dog that was truly "mine" that I had at my first house in Atlanta that I owned with my friend Derrick. He moved with me from house to house as I went through life and finally up here to Charlotte. He always plays well with others, just don't mess with his food bowl!
As babies, he was very sweet to the girls. Allowing them to yank on his ears, face, fur and tail with no reactions. Just a sweet loving doggie. It pains me deeply that I cannot be there with him at his time of passing. It is selfish and cruel to try and keep him alive for a few more days. He has fluid on his lungs, belly, and heart and is struggling for life. Even if I left now to drive up (10hrs) I would not make it in time.
