(no subject)
well starting another week of work............counting down till the end of the quarter is always a good thing . Working at the Univ-Chicago has been an interesting time to say the least.......but I am sure looking forward to things slowing down . Being back at Ar@M**K has been a good thing for me.........its definitely my comfort zone in a work atmosphere ,and the challenge of organizing this location has truly been rewarding . Over the summer I get to take my talents in this area to4 other areas , we will see how things go .
The weekend was nice.........well not the weather........when is it gonna warm up for good ? I guess if its like last summer.......then labor Day weekend will be a good guess . Friday night I ran into Bruce from Big Chicks at Touche's........boy thats always a festive experience :) . I had to work a bit on sunday so my saturday evening was fairly relaxing............cooking a great dinner for my roommate Gerry and myself and chilling out afterward . After having the last two weekends off and heading out of town to Cleveland for CLAW (WOOHOO) and then to Milw for half a weekend last weekend......followed by Bear Night sat..........it was nice to hang out at home and relax .
Bowling is over for a while.........unless I decide to bowl summer league............my average increased almost 16 points this summer..........albeit bowling at Marigold last year was terrible for me and my average......it was nice to get my average back into the 160's........and bowling my 600 series finally in the second to the last week made my season . We are still waiting for our prize money and trophies from the Chicago Invitational Tournament because of a protest files by another bowler with ABC ( he was caught cheating)......that should be resolved this week thankfully.......so we will see how that goes .
