Starting this Friday United Air Lines will charge $15.00 for the first bag and $25.00 for the second.

Fun Fun Fun!

Well I am driving this weekend, so I won't be dealing with the Airlines. But spending 4 hours in my car isn't that much fun either!
But at least the music will be good, the seat confortable and the food, light years better!

First it was a charge for your SECOND checked bag. $25.00. I figured I can pack light.

Now after 15 June 2008 American Airlines will charge the following.
$15.00 for the first checked bag.
$25.00 for the second checked bag.
$50.00 for any single bag over 50 pounds.
$100.00 each for the 3rd, 4th and 5th bag.
$200.00 for the 6th and above.

I will be in San Francisco this weekend. I am traveling there to celebrate my Mom & Dad's annivesary. Mom wanted to go to San Francisco to see the SF Moma and the De Young. We are staying at the W Hotel in SOMA. Thankfully I will have a room to myself on a different floor.

It looks like all of the Airlines will start charging for that second bag checked in.

This is going to mean a few things. One it means that everyone is going to try to carry on more stuff. Like planes aren't already too packed!
Also, it is going to get to the point where you have to swipe your credit card to use the lavatory!

I will be attending CLAW in Cleveland on Friday 25 April 2008 to Monday 28 April 2008.....
