As I mentioned previously, it is bitter cold here. I wish I had brough a camera with me when I walked to work this morning. A lonely Barnacle Goose, living in a flock of Canada Geese.

This species is found normally in greenland and europe. This individual may be one that flew off-course in a storm or one that has escaped from a zoo.

Spotted and phorogrpahed by me last saturday near St. Catherines. We spotted it when we were turning around in a parking lot.
