Interrogation by the Netherlands custom officer this morning:
Him (seeing my Canadian passport): Is this your first time in Europe?
Me: Yes.
Him: Are you excited to be here?
Me: Yes.
Him (smiling and stamping my passport): Great. Have a good time.
That's the easiest time I've ever had crossing a border in my life.
I'm still jet-lagged but I'm quite impressed with the country - the food, the people, the pace of life - so far. A few pics on facebook but will post more later.
