This article actually had me for a moment, until I saw the "satire" section on the top:

Almost like the time an unnamed someone who used to live in Georgia had me convinced, briefly, that a suburb of Atlanta was trying to separate because of a French-speaking majority that was at odds with the English speaking majority in the rest of the city. Which is of course, as I realized, a thinly veiled version of what is happening up here.
