sad news
One of my birds died while I was away. She had been weak for a long time and so I was expecting it, and in fact a few days ago I had to put her in a separate cage because she couldn't fly well enough to get to her food.
She was a wonderful tame, funny bird and is survived by my 5 other finches, canary, the hamster, and me.
