Bearciti
I signed up for bearciti.com the other day. I still have an account on b411 and I haven't involved myself in the "controversy" about the site, but I must say I do like bearciti better for several reasons:
* I Like the fact that it stores messages like email
* The Work-safe main picture thing is nice
* I like the interest list thing
* The private notes are good (haven't used it but a good idea)
* The not-haveing-to-pay-to-see-profiles-on-some-days is good
The one thing I'm somewhat mixed about is the "my type" list thing. I can already see that being a point of drama ("I typed him but he didn't type me back") and could be seen as intrusive; really, the my type thing should be private*. Also there are some times when I've noticed the site is slow or goes buggy when I open a message.
But overall I like it, enough to give them a small donation.
