This year has had more than its share of odd events, so far, and today at lunchtime was in keeping with the trend.
I usually have an orange at lunch. The one I brought with me today looked normal on the outside. After peeling it, I noticed that the segments were pale yellow and looked an awful lot like a lemon. Tasting a piece confirmed this; although the texture and shape and size was orange-like, the taste was exactly the same as a lemon, and just as sour. I ate a couple of segments but couldn't continue, so I threw the rest of it out.
I guess it could be an orange-lemon hybrid? Never seen anything like it before...
