I was reading an article about people without hearing difficulties using subtitles when watching TV, this part made me laugh - "Tucking into a bag of crisps while slobbing on the sofa? Subtitles ensure not a word is missed as the sound gets drowned out by the head-echo of crunching."

I love the description "head-echo of crunching".
