[Ivy had been... pensive since she got the letter. She still had lingering doubts about what to do, but in the end she always reached the same conclusion: She wasn't able to to kill her friend.
And now, the cherry on top, she'd begun to have visions, of a world without plants, the world she most feared. It was the town telling her to finish her friend once and for all.
[This was the place! Now to get down to business. LeChuck knocked on the door and rehearsed in his head what he was going to say so not to arouse suspicion.]
...She actually doesn't fall for it anyway. She's just. Tired, so tired of the game and how it's becoming hard to breathe by moments. She knows it's only her mind playing mind-tricks, that the world still has plants and will forever have them.
That they aren't all doomed.
But it's becoming harder and harder to just not roll with it.]
[She closes the door behind him, and sighs rather loudly. She pretends not to notice how he's fiddling for something on his belt, how he's smiling and it looks fake, how it's rather obvious nobody would be selling door-to-door when half the town is killing and the other half is getting killed.
Ivy's made up her mind on which is the side she falls in.]
[She doesn't feel like speaking, so she just mouths a 'fuck off' to him and slides down the wall, holding her wound. At least it's deep enough, she won't be bleeding for long before she passes away.
