LSU beats Virginia in College World Series

The LSU Tigers beat the Virginia Cavaliers 9-5 tonight at the College World Series in Omaha, as Sean Ochinko hit a 3-run Home Run in the bottom of the 5th to give the Tigers back the lead at 6-4(LSU lead 1-0 after the 1st inning, and 3-1 after the 3rd), and Ryan Schimpf hit a 2-run shot in the 8th as insurance runs to make it 9-5.

LSU will play conference rival Arkansas(a 10-6 winner over Cal State Fullerton earlier today) Monday night at 6pm CT, while Virginia will play Fullerton in an elimination game at 1pm CT Monday afternoon.
