Sports Rundown: LSU wins, advances; VooDoo win; Hornets win
-The LSU Lady Tigers advanced into the second round of the Women's NCAA Tournament with a 66-32 win over Jackson State tonight. They will now play the Marist Red Foxes, a 76-57 winner over DePaul earlier, Monday night.
-The New Orleans VooDoo easily beat the previously undefeated Cleveland Gladiators 63-24 Friday night, to improve to 3-1.
-The New Orleans Hornets beat the Boston Celtics 113-106 to remain in 2nd in the Western Conference(a half a game behind the L.A. Lakers), and 1st in the Southwest Division(1 game ahead of the Houston Rockets, who have now lost 3 of their last 4 after winning 22 games in a row). David West led all scorers with 37 points.
