Last big snowstorm, when I got a couple of days off of work, Kat, Brandon and his friend Victoria came over to hang out. Brandon and I played video games, and Kat and Victoria made cookies. This is the result of those cookies - A velociraptor in a bowler hat.
Last night, Brandon came over to grab dinner and watch Portlandia (highly recommended if you've ever been to Portland and found parts of it extremely silly. Anyhow, when Brandon showed up, Gus was sitting on my chest to get scritches, and when Brandon knocked on the door, she freaked out and launched herself off of me to run and hide. That left me with this on my chest:
It stung a bit.
Also, the whole CPAC thing exasperates me. How can anyone take any of those people and what they say seriously? They're like a bad caricature of everything negative about Republicans, except that they're sincere about it. I think. It's hard to distinguish the sincerity from the cynical playing to the "in" crowd. *cough*MittRomney*cough*
Anyway. Errands to run today; things to do, people to see, yoga class to attend, etc.
