I know, it's just so appealing as an idea. It suits his character so well; out of control, damaged... bit like a lovely doggy. I'm glad the Gladstone idea isn't too cracky, when compared to other werewolf AU's it's a bit whut?

Yeah, I think the majority of bi people end up "picking a side" because identifying as bi is so stressful. Everyone wants to tell you that it's not a valid sexuality and that it's somehow offensive. It's hard for guys as well, because they get the homophobic reaction from women who don't want anything to do with a man who has slept with other men. Then there are all those people who are more than capable of accepting the idea of female bisexuality but think all bi men are "gay and in denial". I think that my version of John has decided that he might occasionally fancy men, but that's no reason to allow himself to fall in love with them. And he's not denying himself anything if he doesn't fall in love with them. Lol, again, enter Sherlock. Who doesn't give a shit about societies expectations unless it helps him solve a crime.
